What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser when you visit or interact with a website. Some last only for the current browser session, while others can remain for a defined period.

Cookies can be set directly by Loadena (“first-party cookies”) or by a third party whose technology is used on a page (“third-party cookies”). Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels and other browser-based identifiers.

Cookie and browser-storage categories

A category appearing in this policy does not mean that Loadena currently uses every technology in that category.

Core cookie and browser-storage register

This register describes the core cookies and browser storage relevant to Loadena’s current store, account and wishlist flows. Feature-dependent storage appears only when the related feature is active.

Cart and store-session cookies

Loadena uses essential store-session cookies to keep the customer’s cart and checkout session connected while they browse and complete a purchase.

These cookies support actions the customer requests, such as adding a product to the cart, moving between pages, updating quantities and completing checkout.

Some store-session cookies contain only a session or state identifier, which can connect the browser to related cart or session data stored securely by the website.

Account authentication cookies

When a customer signs in, essential authentication cookies can be used so the website recognizes the active signed-in session and protects account access.

Authentication-cookie duration can be changed by site configuration. Loadena therefore describes these cookies by the active authentication-session configuration rather than promising a fixed duration in this policy.

Changing a password, logging out or an expired session can invalidate authentication cookies and require a new login.

Wishlist browser storage

For visitors who are not signed in, Loadena can use browser local storage to remember the product IDs saved to the Wishlist in that browser.

This storage is functional rather than advertising storage. When a customer signs in, the guest Wishlist can be merged with the Wishlist associated with the account.

Clearing browser site data can remove a guest Wishlist that has not yet been merged into an account.

Payment providers and checkout technology

The payment methods available at checkout can use their own scripts, cookies, fraud-prevention tools or browser storage to process and protect a transaction.

The exact technology depends on the payment gateways enabled and available for the particular order. Those providers may process information under their own privacy and cookie practices.

A payment-provider cookie should be added to this policy/register only after the corresponding live gateway and cookie have been verified.

Order source measurement

Loadena may use an optional order-source measurement feature that temporarily stores traffic-source, limited device and session information so the source of an order can be measured when the feature is enabled.

The related storage register below is shown only when Loadena detects that this optional measurement feature has been explicitly enabled in the site configuration.

Analytics and marketing technologies

Loadena may use analytics, conversion measurement or advertising technologies if they are enabled in the future. If such a tool is enabled, this policy should identify it accurately and the tool should be configured according to the consent and privacy rules that apply.

We do not describe an analytics or advertising service as currently active unless it has actually been enabled and verified in the live store configuration.

Where prior consent is required for an optional technology, that technology should not be activated for that purpose until the required choice has been made.

Third-party links and embedded content

A normal link from Loadena to another website does not by itself mean that the destination website’s cookies are set on Loadena. Once you follow the link, the destination website applies its own privacy and cookie practices.

Embedded content is different. A third-party video, social widget, map, CAPTCHA or similar embedded service may be able to store or access information on the Loadena page itself.

Where required, optional third-party embeds should be blocked, limited or otherwise managed until the necessary visitor choice has been made.

Your browser choices

Most modern browsers allow you to inspect, delete, block or limit cookies and local storage. The exact controls depend on your browser and device.

If you block all cookies, essential functions may stop working. For example, the store may no longer be able to remember the cart, maintain checkout state or keep a customer signed in.

Deleting browser site data can also sign you out, clear guest Wishlist data or reset other browser-stored preferences.

Consent and cookie preferences

Depending on the visitor’s location and the technology involved, strictly necessary storage used to provide a requested service can be treated differently from optional analytics, advertising or tracking technology.

Where applicable law requires prior consent, Loadena should use an appropriate consent or preference mechanism for the relevant optional technology. Rejecting optional technologies should not disable essential store functions that do not depend on them.

This Cookie Policy is an explanation. It does not by itself replace a consent banner or preference center where one is required.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this page when store functionality, payment providers, measurement tools, embedded services or legal requirements change.

The “Last updated” date at the top identifies the current published version. The browser-storage register should be reviewed whenever the technology used by the store changes materially.
